Product Designer. Economics thinker. Systems builder.
I'm Ronald Ekka — a product designer based in Bengaluru with an Economics background that shapes how I approach every design problem. I combine business thinking with user-centered craft, delivering everything from early research to high-fidelity prototypes.
Most recently I led end-to-end UX across 4+ enterprise ERP modules at Indux Technology, building scalable design systems and cutting review cycles by 2–3 days. I work in Figma and Framer, and bring AI-assisted workflows into every stage of the process.

Ronald Ekka, Product Designer

Good design isn't decoration — it's the difference between a product people understand and one they abandon. I design interfaces that cut friction, earn trust, and get people to act.
What kind of projects do you take on?
Primarily product and UI/UX design for startups and growing teams — mobile apps, SaaS dashboards, fintech flows, and design systems. I'm strongest on complex, data-heavy products where business logic and usability need to coexist.
What does working with you look like?
I embed into your workflow — Figma files, Slack, Notion, whatever you use. I handle everything from research and wireframes through to high-fidelity design and developer handoff. You get one person accountable for the full scope.
How long does a typical engagement take?
Depends on scope. A focused flow redesign can take 1–2 weeks. A full product design project with research, design system, and prototype typically runs 4–8 weeks. I'll scope it clearly before we begin.
What makes your background different?
My Economics background gives me a unique perspective on design. I think beyond aesthetics—focusing on user behavior, decision-making, incentives, and tradeoffs. This helps me create products that are intuitive for users while also solving meaningful business problems.
Design without business context is decoration. Business without design is friction. I sit at the intersection — and that's exactly where the best products get made.
